When Whitney Young moved to Boston after finishing graduate school, a friend suggested she get together with Tobias Crawford. Though they just met for coffee, they soon arranged a proper date. Two years later, during a hike at World’s End in Massachusetts, Toby proposed. The following day, Whitney’s family organized a surprise celebration brunch in Darien. The wedding ceremony took place at the Bonita Bay Club in Bonita Springs, Florida. It was performed by the groom’s father, the Honorable Geoffrey Crawford, a judge with the Federal Court. Toby’s sister and brother-in-law performed a special arrangement from The Music Man for the couple. Dinner and dancing followed. The bride is an investment analyst at Manulife Asset Management.
