On Saturday, December 13th 2014 in downtown New Canaan, Connecticut, Callari Cares, the fundraising arm of Callari Auto Group, 140 Ledge Road, Darien, Connecticut will be collecting unwrapped toys for Breakthrough Options for Families. Breakthrough Options for Families is a Norwalk-based charitable organization that provides advocacy and mentoring services for single parent, low-income families in Fairfield County.
The Callari Cars display will feature 3 different ice sculptures: a MINI, a Bavarian Nutcracker sculpture for BMW and a traditional holiday Swedish Dala Horse for VOLVO. The ice sculptures will be prominently displayed from 10 AM to 4:00 PM in front of the Movie Theatre at 91 Elm Street. Donations of unwrapped toys will be collected in the displayed MINI, VOLVO and BMW cars.

Founded in 2007 by Akisha Cassermere, Breakthrough Options for Families, Inc. is a 501c3 tax exempt organization that advocates on behalf of single parent families in poverty. They provide mentoring for local at-risk children and their services consist of one on one and group mentoring. Ms. Cassermere is a single parent with two children that have recently graduated from the Norwalk Public School District. She is dedicated to helping improve the quality of life for families in crisis and in poverty in the greater Norwalk, Connecticut area.
