Spring break may still be months away, but you can jet set through Italy in the best way imaginable with a glass (or several) of wine, expertly prepped small plates and the rustic, warm environment of Bar Sugo as they present their “Serie Vino” wine and food tasting classes.
Each one hour class in the series (there are five in total) will focus on a particular Italian region, history behind the wines and the food that best accompanies them prepared by Chef Pat Pascarella. These wine classes are designed to enlighten and inspire both the novice and enthusiast. Chef Pat Pascarella will guide you along the way, with tips and tricks for successfully pairing your wines with local food.
The series will take place each Tuesday at 7:00pm:
- January 13: The first wine-pairing class covers Venetia
- January 20: The second covers Campania
- January 27: The third class covers Sicily
- February 10: The fourth class covers Piedmont
Attend one class or attend them all. With the first class you attend, you will receive a Bar Sugo ticket. Each time you attend a class, your ticket will be marked and you will also receive a complimentary small plate certificate to redeem on your next visit to the restaurant. Attend all five classes in the series and receive a gift certificate for two people ($75 value). Each class is $35 per person (plus gratuity) with a maximum of 20 people attending. Reservations can be made by contacting email@example.com.
